Erika Flores | ZOHARI

Born in the heart of Mexico City and raised by a lake in its lush, nature-rich outskirts, Erika was shaped early on by beauty, contrast, and imagination. Now based in Switzerland, she bridges worlds as both, a visual artist and executive—merging vision with wisdom and strategy with soul. ZOHARI is the artist within me. The Light!

Erika creates immersive, large-scale commissions and murals that blend abstract expressionism, ancestral memory, and collective presence. Her artwork is experiential and often co-creative, unfolding through an intuitive, hands-on process that invites emotional resonance and a subtle transformation to the collectors. Each piece becomes a living dialogue between space, energy, and the individuals it serves.

Alongside her artistic path, she has led commercial growth strategies for over two decades across Latin America, the United States, Australia, Monaco, and Switzerland. Art, however, has remained an inner compass—from early tailored-made painted glass works featured as a young entrepreneur in national newspapers in Mexico to designing limited-edition art jewelry and curating international contemporary artists.

In 2020, a pivotal chapter unfolded in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, where immersion in nature catalyzed a profound personal transformation and ignited a professional painting journey. By 2023, her immersive works had evolved into large-scale commissions for top executives and their families in Munich, recognized for the emotional depth, exciting creativity, and her collaborative painting style.

Erika’s trajectory led to participation in the MOMENTUM–LAGOS residency at Kunstquartier Bethanien in Berlin where she was invited to private inspiring conversations with top professional artists and curators of world’s top museums, galleries and biennales. This chapter followed by a first solo exhibition of 50 original artworks in Mexico City, finding love in Munich who shares a deep passion for the arts and nature to later moving to Switzerland to start their life together.

Today, Erika lives and works between Munich and her home-atelier in the Drei Weieren lake district of St. Gallen, Switzerland with her partner and their pets, herSt Bernard and two cats. Her practice continues to evolve through intentional creative exploration inspired in nature, and transformative stories, delivering bespoke commissions with collectors and collective art immersions to larger groups, in Switzerland and internationally.
